So at what point does everyone stop thinking of themselves and start thinking of me?

    Answer to your question: People have already stopped thinking of themselves but they are all too busy thinking about me to bother with you.

    Answer to your UPDATE question: Because they are listening to me. In fact the only person listening to you right now is me because I don’t have to spend all my energy listening to myself because I already know what I am talking about.
