Ranting and Raving

Flew to Tampa today on business. I’ll be here for a few days. It’s a good time when you are the IT for an office and you are out of town for a big update that can quite possibly cause chaos. I am speaking of course about the DST change that our wonderful government decided to enact. I’m not gonna get into but lets just say that the logic behind this is based on information from the 1970’s!! Yeah, that makes sense…..because nothing has changed in almost 40 years……fucking idiots

Lucked out and got a window seat today which was nice. It was on Delta, and let me tell you it was 100% better than American Airlines. Seat was comfortable and roomy, flight was smooth, landing was done like a real pilot was flying the plane, not a rookie, and they gave you a choice of snacks that they didn’t charge you outrageous prices for. I think I might try to fly Delta more often!

While I was enjoying the scenery from the window, I came upon a great idea. I am going to buy a large tract of land and develop suburban housing. I am then going to design the whole thing to look like a giant penis!!! So that when some one flies over it and looks down, BAM, penis shaped suburban housing development! That’s me, doing my part to make the Human Elephant Graveyard more fun!

Read some good articles in Rolling Stone on the flight as well. One about the best, probable, and worst case scenarios in Iraq, one that lambasted Cheney, and one about the guys behind SoutPark. If you have a chance, grab a copy and check it out. It also has a nice little blurb about the new NIN album….I am psyched about it.

And finally, as we were landing, someone either dropped a giant deuce in the bathroom (i was towards the rear of the plane and not too far from it) or some one close by laid some serious ass….it was definitely a beer/liquor/general hangover fart and it made the last 15 minutes of the flight a good time….;-)
