Question for the Readership

If you are playing a pick-up game of any sort, and there are a mixture of casual and hardcore players and the theme of it is ‘to have fun’ do you think it is fair that you are benched because you are not as skilled at that time? Even though, by playing, you will learn the skills and techniques to make you a better player? In fact there is a GOOD CHANCE you will learn those skils while playing in that game.

Tell me what you think…if you care that is.

If you’re just going to sit on the bench, what’s the point in “participating”?

I think if you’re in it to socialize then it shouldnt really matter either way.. but if you’re there to play then you should play

I think your right. But no matter what, as long as the hardcore players still play then someone who isnt as good or as “in it to win it” will be benched because the hardcore players dont know how to just play for fun, most likely because they were the ones who were benched on their high school team and now as some sort of subconcious revenge against their former coach and a deep rooted punishment for not being better when they had the chance, they feel the need to keep down the ones who are like the high school versions of themselves…

I’ve taken a psych class as a college freshman..can ya tell?
