Most, if not all, of my faithful readers should be aware that the Wife and I have found a place to live in Astoria, Queens.
The best way to describe our mood is totally excited (and nervous) about finally achieving that which many of you have heard for years that we wanted to do; move to the big city!
We are really looking forward to exploring our new home and finally getting rid of the 2 hour commute to and from work. I especially am looking forward to getting those four hours of my life back! 😉
The next few weeks will be filled with the logistics of our move, and you’ll probably hear about it from us via our blogs as well.
Once we are settled, pictures will be taken and posted and or sent for everyone’s enjoyment.
Here’s to the next phase of our lives. Let’s call it Chapter 3 ‘The Big City’!

Congrats on the new digs, and the 4hrs back.
I look forward to following along in chapter three. Kick me an email, I may be able to give you some contact info for hired hands to help move heavy stuff and things. If I recall correctly the standard fee is a six pack and a Tony’s Pizza. ( I could be wrong though, they may not require pizza)
