My current job has me working on the border between Chelsea, Greenwich Village, and the West Village. Very trendy and very hip….totally unlike me!
That being the case, I have seen several actors just walking around the area minding their business. I try not to stare or bother them, but I do end up doing a double take to make sure.
I have seen the following actors/celebrities:
Oliver Platt – Parking his bike and walking into a deli. I was actually standing at the corner waiting for the light to change when he road up next to me. It was kinda cool.
Nigel Barker – I saw him from behind, and the only reason I am guessing it was him because of the pack of squealing 14yr old girls in front of me going ‘OH MY GOD, that was him, that was Nigel! EEEEEEEEEE!’
John Slattery – Standing outside a bakery on 8th ave.
Michael Badalucco – At the Barnes & Noble at Union Square.
It’s all kinda cool. I really do enjoy working in this city!
