Seriously. Is there no end to the geekiness? 😛

    Doood! You rock.

I, like many geeks, have been mildly obsessed with Mah na mah na since its resurgence after the Dr. Pepper commercial. I thought I was doing my geeky due diligence by finding the Muppet show version, the precursor Muppet version, the Cake version and the Fear and Loathing video of the Cake version. Clearly I was mistaken because I had never gone so far as to find the real original. For some reason I had figured that it had come from the absurd mind of Jim Henson but the credits at the end of the video you posted (which rocks by the way, although I do wonder about the praise and glory to Jesus thing) credits Piero Umiliani who, I come to find out, wrote it for an Italian soft core porn movie called, get this, “Sweden, Heaven and Hell”! It just couldn’t get any better. Now my mild obsession has graduated to full blown. I found an MP3 of the original and links to a number of remixes (Who knew! Can you say “new ringtone”!?!?) and now I am in search of the movie. Wish me luck!

The Muppet version is THE best. No one should mess with it, least of all make us all hate it by puting it in a commercial. Lack of imagination is what that is!

Although I have to agree with the last comment the wife made, it was pretty funny :o)
