Day 1


I have given up coffee for the rest of this week and all of next week. I am trying to kick the habit as I have been drinking too much of it. Once I go cold turkey, I can go back at lesser amounts.

Currently my head is pounding, my body aches, and I feel like hammered….well, you know the expression.

It doesn’t help that last night I stayed up until 12:30am playing WoW

    Kicking the caffeine binge is quite a task for the network engineer 😉 I’ve found ramping down a little better… I did it once, but got bored of drinking just water… made me hungry all the time, so I ate more. I figured the soda was better than the food I was eating 🙂

    I’m starting to worry about you Ogar. Think you might be challenging yourself a little too much? Write a book, blog daily, kick caffeine…. What’s next? Are you going to finally grow those wings you always wanted? Quit goat blowing? Start telling funny jokes? Cool it man! You’re gonna burn out.

    Monstu, I am so glad I can count on you to not only kick me when I am down, but when I am there holding my gut after the kick, you stomp me in the nuts.

    My roomies are trying the same thing…you wanna know what I think? Quitting…is for quitters!! Caffiene addiction makes me happy…so Im staying with it!!

    I give you a LOT of credit for quitting coffee, or at least cutting down. I’ve been wanting to, but I get to the point of pain… AKA 9:10 AM, and I give in.

    What a horribly wonderful drug.

    Go for it Bill… I quit smoking cigs at the end of July and am so much happier about it as a result(so is my wallet). If it’s what you want, stick with it.
